# Add Page Numbers

**Add Page Numbers** stamps a page number on every page of a PDF — right in your browser, no account required.

### **How to Use**

The process is simple and consists of three basic steps:

#### **Step 1: Upload Your File**

* Go to **PDF Tools** and select **"Add page numbers."**
* Drag and drop a PDF file into the upload area, or click to browse your computer.

#### **Step 2: Set the Position**

* Choose where the page number should appear: **Top left**, **Top center**, **Top right**, **Bottom left**, **Bottom center**, or **Bottom right**.
* Set the **Start at** value if you want numbering to begin from a number other than 1.

#### **Step 3: Add Numbers and Download**

* Click **"Add page numbers."**
* Once processing is complete, click **"Download Document"** to save the numbered file to your device.
