# Add Watermark

**Add Watermark** overlays a diagonal text watermark across every page of a PDF — right in your browser, no account required.

### **How to Use**

The process is simple and consists of three basic steps:

#### **Step 1: Upload Your File**

* Go to **PDF Tools** and select **"Add watermark."**
* Drag and drop a PDF file into the upload area, or click to browse your computer.

#### **Step 2: Set Your Watermark Text**

* Type the text you want stamped across each page (for example, "CONFIDENTIAL" or "SAMPLE").
* Adjust the **Opacity** slider to control how visible the watermark is over your content.

*📌 **Note:** Add Watermark is completely free and does not require an account. Lower opacity values keep your original content easier to read.*
